Hi! I’m Emma Wright.

I just received my MS in Medical Sciences from the Medical University of South Carolina, and before that I received a BS in Language and International Health from Clemson University! I’m now applying to medical schools.

I’ve learned a lot during my time at Clemson, and this eDossier will showcase what I’ve learned and what I want to accomplish: becoming a doctor and devoting time to practicing medicine and providing care in underserved Spanish-speaking communities.

I am from West Hartford, Connecticut, but after medical school, I’d like to see more of the United States, Europe, and Africa. My time in Toledo for study abroad was life-changing, both educationally and culturally. My internship gave me a real look at what working as a doctor entails, and trips to Morrocco, Paris, and Madrid taught me more about the world than any classroom.

I’m so grateful to Clemson for helping me chart a course for the future, and I hope you find the past work showcased here to be relevant to what’s next!
